Bubshait has been elected as the President of the Arabian Society
for Human Resources Management (ASHRM) January 2009. ASHRM is

Saudi Aramco for over 25 years and his current position is the
Director of the Training Technical Support Dept in Saudi Aramco.

Panos is member of the Board of Directors of Stanton Chase
International as Vice Chairman Regions, and the Managing Partner
of the U.A.E. He has been a member of Stanton Chase since 2003
when he started as General Manager of the Bucharest office and

Before being elected as Vice Chairman Regions, he served (and,

(American University of Athens), a Master's degree in Diplomacy

in International Law and Relations, while he is also graduate
of Harvard Business School, Executive Education on Leadership
Development. Additionally, he has graduated from the American
European Academy in Austria, the Council of Europe and the European
Academy in Sweden, Junior Chamber International where he served
as a National President for Greece in 2003. He also holds a

Mr Ebrahim Talib

Engineer by profession, holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from
the University of Newscastle Upon Tyne, UK. Also holds Diploma
in Management from Darden School of Business Administration, University
of Virginia. Has 30 years experience in Bapco. Joined as Process
Engineer in 1981 and held various supervisory and managerial positions
in all areas of refinery operations. Currently holds the position
of General Manager - Refining Division, and is responsible for
the major part of the Supply Chain Process which includes planning,
operations and oil storage & export functions. Refining Division,
which is considered to be the most critical core area of Bapco's
business, with a manpower of 930 employees, consists of a total
of 7 departments; namely, Oil Processing (North & South),
Refinery Operations Planning, Technical Services, Power &
Utilities, Oil storage & Export and Fire, Health & Safety.
Some of the major improvement initiatives currently being led
are:
- Energy Conservation and Optimization in the Refinery, which
was successful in reducing the Energy Intensity Index (EII) by
at least 15 points.
- As a member of the Steering Committee for the Productivity Improvement
(PI) project, he is tasked with implementation of a number of
potential energy conservation projects and manpower rationalization
initiatives.
- Leader of the Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS)
to achieve sustainable world class performance in the fields of
Environment, Health, Safety, Reliability and Efficiency. This
will touch all areas in the Company and considered the highest
priority in Corporate Strategic Plans.
Some of the initiatives led earlier included:
- Implemented the Single Level Operator concept for the first
time in Bapco. The concept which resulted in significant benefits
including manpower rationalization has since been implemented
in all Refinery areas.
- Led the specification, design, testing and implementation of
an IT SIGMAfine application for Refinery process data reconciliation
which encompasses a total Refinery configuration modeling. The
application is in use for daily Refinery operations.
- Led the implementation of Oil Loss Program and Slop Management
committee which has so far significantly reduced Refinery-wide
oil loss from more than 1.3% to 0.57%.
- Played an important role in the commissioning of 2HDU (Diesel
Hydrotreater) revamp which is an important part of the Low Sulfur
Desulphurization Project (LSDP).

Scalise is a Senior Trainer/Analyst at Saudi Aramco, a former
member of the Advisory Board of Technology and Learning Magazine,

States.

Certification Programs and has taught and certified thousands

in Al Jaber Engineering - Qatar overseeing 15 different subsidiaries
with a workforce exceeding 6,500 employees. Previously, has
worked as Group Human Resources Director for Al-Jaber Group
with scope covering 30 Subsidiaries and 68,000 employees in
UAE, also as Human Capital Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers&
